Classic, refreshing mint julep to serve on a warm day

Ingredients

  

• 5 mint leaves
• ½ oz simple syrup
• 2½ oz whiskey

Instructions

 

• In a silver julep cup or Collins glass, muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup.
• Fill the glass with crushed ice and add the whiskey.
• Top with additional ice and add a mint sprig for garnish.
• Enjoy!
