As many of you know, Tom and I are in the process of making significant updates to our 1980’s house. We’ve been evaluating dishwashers and I’m proud to share our recommendations.
We looked at 80+ current models. We quickly narrowed down our search by deciding on a standard size built-in unit that had a stainless steel front and tub, and had significant U.S. brand recognition (just in case we needed it serviced in the future). From there, we whittled down our list to the dishwashers that had clean lines (e.g., control buttons on the top edge of the door – out of sight). This process resulted in approximately 10 of the Best Dishwashers 2019. I then talked with the various manufacturers’ customer service personnel and examined the dishwasher models’ tech specs and operating manuals to answer any remaining questions to finalize on these four dishwashers for 2019.
